Men and women enter the dance. They warm up, stretch and begin to concatenate their movements with an energy coming from within. Couples meet and disengage in the course of the choreography. They wear the same outfits. Torsion of the chest, ‘port de bras’, ‘battement de jambes’, their clothes follow the movement with ease. They marry the bodies without restraining. Slashed armholes free the shape of shirts cut from one piece. The slit backseams and sleeve inseams of the jackets reveal the brightness of the white silk linings. next>>>

1986 - in duo with Michael Roelli he founds ROELLI TESTU, a new menswear label which is to seduce the internationale press and prestigious buyers for nthe next 5 years

1991 - the Roelli Testu tandem is chosen to design the menswear collection at the House of S.T. DUPONT

1996 - Jean-Luc Testu leaves S.T. DUPONT to become menswear designer at THIERRY MUGLER
