Question: Which movie has to be seen because of its great costumes!
"The movie that changed my life was "Gone with the Wind". The scene in which Scarlett O'Hara made a dress AND a hat out of her green velvet-curtain impressed me so much, that my wish to become a designer was firmed. I was about 10 years old when I started to sew blouses and dresses out from my mothers tablecloth and bedlinen! That caused me a lot of honor from my friends and a lot of trouble at home1"
Video: New composed trailer with the track "Love you madly" by the great New York band Cake (cakemusic.com): "Gone with the Wind" (1939), starring Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Olivia de Havilland, Leslie Howard, ...; directed by Victor Fleming.
"A younger movie which is not to be missed is "Elisabeth" with Cate Blanchett (from 1998 and 2007). I had my mouth open all due the movie, I wished to push the "pause"-key all the time to see and understand all the beauty of the ancient robes with all their filigree details. Respect, respect, RESPECT!"
Video: Nice sequel of the costumes designed by Alexandra Byrne for "Elizabeth. The Golden Age", directed by Shekhar Kapur; starring Cate Blanchett ...
