Collier Schorr works on reality::fiction. He questions how identity influences nationality, gender and sexuality. Lina on this photo with her magnetic gaze is impregnated with intensity, performance and a feminine presence. It seems a she has super-human power.
In another work the Jewish photographer Collier Schorr portrayed a fictional series
of soldiers to confront the Arian myth. Through these photographs, Schorr tries to recreate a new ideal for the German soldier, more
human and less powerful.

"The title Edit!, imperative, refers to that urge to format the art experience as an experience constructed
through the manipulation of references to the Real, unburdened by proselytism nor indifference, in
the intersection of concepts, precepts and affects that invite us to restore the expectation in the world
and the body in the relation with the work of art, with cinema as the inevitable condition." Delfim Sardo,
Curator.
