A Star captures Stars
French filmmaker, writer, and multimedia artist Chris Marker has studied with his camera faces of people with whom he demonstrated at political events, famous friends and colleagues (Simone Signoret or Akira Kurosawa), strangers - citizens which caught his eye on his travel through Asia, South America, Scandinavia, Africa, Russia, ... "I stare" and "They stare" as Marker says. Almost 200 black-and-white photographic portraits give us a Staring Back to the past six decades. Each face has star qualities - it's in your eye!
