“Women with statues, women without status,
ideal women, women with an ideal, women who have lost it. Ideas of women – expressed, killed, revealed by themselves or attributed to them. Foucault says the trouble that one needs to assign to the familiarities of thought in order to sway and worry our millennium practice of the “Same” and of the “Other”. When the work of Art creates unrest, it evacuates the common place."

One of the three parts of the exhibition is titled "Venus/Desasters". It is about female beauty and the new position of women in our world.
