Poesie des Moments
Group exhibition of the graduates of The School for Artistic Photography Vienna, Prof. Friedl Kubelka

The Act of Making Past and Present
Have you ever tried to think the present? You will recognize that you can think into the future or the past. By thinking the present it is already the past.
Capturing Moments
What's the fascination of shooting an image with your mobile? Only to see how things look on a small screen? Isn't it the timeline which fascinates much more - that you can capture the moment which divides the present from the past?
The exhibition at the Galerie Raum mit Licht (means as much as "room with light") presents the work of the graduates of The School for Artistic Photography Vienna, directed by Prof. Friedl Kubelka, under the title "Movere" (from Latin movere, "moving") with focus on the "moments" in which we decide to stop our reflexions and act; especially the "moments" in the photograpers' work in which an image is shot to give us the chance thinking about the moment that is gone.
When Photography becomes Art
The artists in this exhibition question the frozen moment, succeed their thoughts from the past present, and enrich the moment this way. You will see that the captured moments in these works are still "movere".

Bischof experiments in her work with various materials and media. She leaves traces which makes it possible to follow the genealogy of the work.
