The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will, on October 7, inaugurate Moving Pictures, an exhibition drawn largely from the Guggenheim Museum’s permanent collection focusing on the variety of approaches explored by contemporary artists through photography, film and video. The ubiquity of these mediums dates from the late 60s, when numerous artists started incorporating photography and moving pictures into their conceptual practices.
