These trousers are practical for city-biking!

On 3rd July 2009, German designer Kilian Kerner presented his new spring/summer 2010 men's and women's wear collections entitled 'Tagebucheinträge' - which could be translated with 'Diary Threads' at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.

The designer worked for this presentation once more on an allover-concept to give an impression of his 'Zeitgeist' and directed a scenery of fashion, music and accessories. The title of his collection 'Diary Threads' seems to be inspired by social media activities. Kilian Kerner's lifestyle is influenced by a mobile and dynamic society.

Women
Alongside to dresses, Kilian Kerner shows short trousers in Marlene Dietrich style with male trousers inspired folds and pockets. You will find these trousers in many other collections for spring/summer 2010; they are a real highlight - especially if you love to bike and dress up female at the same time. Forget the annoying strip off skirts on a bike in 2010! Kilian Kerner combines the Marlene trousers to elegant transparent shirts.

Bags, belts
For the first time, Kilian Kerner presented together with Berlin designer Anja Bruhn the new line for bags and belts under the label 'Kerner&Bruhn'. The belts are created for this collection under the title 'Sie trifft ihn' - translated 'She meets him' kiliankerner.de.

Men
The men's wear line has adynamic appeal with short trousers and blouson-jackets, tailored suits combined with comfortable collar shirts. The style is described as 'cool mix'. Kilian Kerner advices for men massive silver jewellery. On the catwalk he has chosen the silver jewellery by the Hamburg label ElfCraft elfcraft.com and weekender-bags to comply the look of a mobile, dynamic man.

Music
The synthi-pop track 'savages' was composed especially for this show by the Berlin Band Mor/La/Peach. The spherical sound was selected to intensify the impression of the lightness of the silk dresses in pastels.
