Swimwear styles: experimental, sportive and glam; seen at Kymare SS09
Arnhem based designer Kim Wormgoor expresses with the Kymare spring/summer 2009 swimwear for women and men the lightness and freedom of 'Butterflies and Birds'; such as on this page: the optical effect of the fabric used for one piece of the 'Blush Butterfly' line evokes the impression of a living cocoon - like the butterfly is just in the moment to be born.
Kymare SS09 consists of the three lines 'Poison Vanillae', 'Gold Moon' and 'Blush Butterfly'. The swimwear is completed with tops, dresses, leggings, shorts and accessories.
Sportive: the modern, graphical line 'Poison Vanillae' has the most dynamic colors: fluor orange and mint.
Glam: the 'Gold Moon' line has the glamorous retro 40/50ies look. You can find there feminine bikinis, swimsuits, dresses and tops with high-gloss golden details.
Experimental: the 'Blush Butterfly' line is the heart of this collection. Therefore the designer works with different textures and innovative processing of fabrics. Strapless bathing suits, separates of different padded tops, bikini bottoms which can be ordered separately are the concept of this line which is designed "for every woman anywhere in the world".
About Kymare
In 2006 Kymare was launched by the former graduate of the Academy of Arts in Arnhem (NL) Kim Wormgoor (born 1979) with a women's swimwear collection. In spring/summer 2008 Kymare presented its first men's wear line. The designer's signature is to combine innovative materials and prints in simple lines. The 3rd collection by Kim Wormgoor (born 1979) was inspired by the surface of materials like minerals and stones, or the salmons- and wolffish leather from Iceland, as well as the Rorschach psychedelic ink prints which brings our content of perception to the surface fashionoffice.org/design/2007/kymare11-2007.htm. The collection is available in stores in Europe, the United States and at the Kymare online shop www.kymare.com. https://www.fashion.at/design/2009/kymare5-2009.htm
