'Lust for living'
69 year old US designer Betsey Johnson's spring/summer 2012 collection promotes fashion as entertainment and pays homage to femininity. The evening gowns are made of semi-transparent fabrics with flower prints, the light summer cocktail dresses appear in boudoir style, the metallic pieces are flashing in neon colors, and 70s rock-pop-punk items such as a provocative 'Garden Eden' top are spreading in sum the message 'lust for living'.
At the end of the show, Betsey Johnson (born 1942!) made a cartwheel and split - and she stood up again! Reuters publishes catwalk views, an interview and the split on youtu.be/w0RKhYe9i6E.
