Women's fashion in upcoming movies

She always has a hoodie and she also wears this over-sized snood – which David called the 'Jedi Knight' – when she's hacking."
'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' is one of the most interesting movies of 2011 for fashion addicted cineasts. The movie premieres on 14 December 2011 in New York. On the same day, the 'H&M Dragon Tattoo'-collection will be released at H&M stores (off- and online) worldwide.
Video: The movie's costume designer Trish Summerville speaks in the video about the collaborative collection. The pieces are inspired by the dark, urban feeling of the movie and the leather jackets and jeans style of the female role 'Lisbeth Salander'.
"We didn't want to make her flashy and loud, but really,
really authentic," states Summerville about the costumes for the movie. "We didn't want her to look like she's in a punk or Goth
band, but to make her look really cool in a way that is kind of worn-in and used. We saw
Lisbeth as someone who can just fade into the shadows if she chooses to do so."
'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' is about a male journalist (Daniel Craig) and a female computer hacker (Rooney Mara in the role of 'Lisbeth Salander') after the novel of the Swedish journalist and writer Stieg Larsson. The movie trailer's music - a remix of Led Zeppelin’s 'Immigrant Song' with the female voice of Karen O, received on Wired.com the remark 'spooky'.
And then there is the blackrubber suit in fetish fashion style worn by Kate Beckinsale (Selene) in the vampire story 'Underworld: Awakening' (directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein, release in January 2012). Check out the trailer, especially the scene when vampire warrior 'Selene' makes braking marks with her suit. Let's burn rubber!
