For users of high heels

To walk on high heels can be a 'science'. There are already books written for women who can't resist the chic footwear, trainings courses are not fictional such as some men could assume when watching online videos of women on high heels (youtu.be/QwoSb-iLwFw). Walking on high heels is a serious theme; for women and even for some men.

In June 2011, the Viennese shop Sterngasse 4, which is known for its range of international design labels like Alberta Ferretti, Barbara Bui, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs... has sent some tips for high heels users.

High heels-'beginners' should choose shoes with wedges and block sole in the front to allocate the weight better onto the whole foot.
Wear new shoes one evening before at home with wet socks to make them more comfortable.
Take care of your feet and toenails (pedicure) before slipping into one of the edgy shoes.

The high heels you can see on this page are 11cm or higher. With this height, they don't count to the 'healthy' footwear; but for special occasions and if they are not worn too long they won't harm the body and make it look sexy.

Dr. Karin Neuhold, owner of the shop in the Sterngasse 4 in the inner-city of Vienna as well as the recently online opened sterngasse4.com collects personally the pieces for each season. For SS2011, Neuhold suggests to wear leather jackets in classical Easy Rider style not only in combination with jeans but also over a light flower summer dress.

Fashionoffice tip: use an e-bike or a scooter for reaching city destinations without long walks on high heels. The style of the Easy Rider leather jackets fits therefore perfectly.
