Movie-trailer: for 'The Ward', directed by John Carpenter (released already this month in some countries)
...with Amber Heard as Kristen in the main role. The psychological thriller plays in the 1960s, colored in monochromatic images which are used by the filmmakers to express 'trapped desperation', has received from the Hollywood Reporter an annotation for the costumes by Lisa Caryl that the actresses "including Heard, convincingly look the part in their sassy '60s clothing -- courtesy of costume designer Lisa Caryl -- but sound tellingly contemporary." Jeannette Catsoulis states on The New York Times that the "...familiar tale about female derangement and institutional abuse is too tame to scare and too shallow to engage" and expects new ideas.
