Electronic-world fusion #music 'Crush' (feat. Brass Menazeri) from Beats Antique's album 'Contraption Vol. II'
Recently, the three members band Beats Antique released the electronic-acoustic track 'Crush' (featuring San Francisco Gypsy Brass Band Brass Menažeri) on the new album 'Contraption Vol. II'.
Beats Antique consists of David Satori, Tommy Cappel and belly dance performer and music producer Zoe Jakes. Zoe Jakes studied ballet and contemporary techniques and worked with dance troupes, including Miles Copeland's Bellydance Superstars and Rachel Brice's Indigo Belly Dance Company. Tommy Cappel studied at Berklee School of Music and David Satori at California Institute of the Arts. Inspired by their world travels, Cappel and Satori started to produce multicultural music developed from a fusion of diverse styles such as traditional folk, hip hop and old school jazz.
For the 'Animale Mechanique'-tour, Beats Antique transform the stage into a Bollywood bass-circus with performers who wear
animal masks and wild feather headdresses. The next stations of the 'Animale Mechanique'-tour are on 28 October Aspen (Colorado) and other cities in North America, on 22 November Melbourne (Australia), 21 December in Giza (Egypt), to name three dates from beatsantique.com/upcoming-shows/.
