#ArtVideo 'Forget The Heroes' by Paolo Chiasera and his #performance at 'curated by_vienna' (20 Sept - 25 Oct, #Vienna)
The art video 'Forget The Heroes' by Paolo Chiasera (video below) shows clay figurines of thinkers from the 18th century until today from the fields architecture, philosophy, economy, information technology, linguistics over a chess board - they are rotating like players on a football table and split such as hidden by an invisible football. Paolo Chiasera's work stand for society regulated by laws (chess board) and the fall of utopian ideas (thinkers as players hidden by footballs).
On 22 September 2012, Paolo Chiasera's performance 'The Greater Monuments are the ones you can't see' will be on view during 'curated by_vienna 2012. art or life: aesthetics and biopolitics' at Galerie Lukas Feichtner in Vienna.
Find more information about 'curated by_vienna' (20 September to 25 October 2012) where curators and 22 galleries provide with an extensive art program new views on the interconnections between work, economy, knowledge, and politics on curatedby.at.
