Is it difficult to stay objective as a journalist?

Probably - but yes. It belongs to the style of the handbag.

Now, the Swiss label 'Freitag' (makes since 1993 bags from recycled materials from trucks, cars, bicycles) invites to the lecture 'Journalism is a lie - Why the world can be described only subjectively' by German/Swiss author Sibylle Berg on 12 April 2012 at the Freitag store in Vienna. The lecture is part of the series 'Freitag am Donnerstag' (literally 'Friday on Thursday') - a collaboration of the socio-critical bag label and its own new magazine Reportagen.

Freitag am Donnerstag started in 2010 and gives since then insights into various forms of journalism and invites to discussions about the making of opinion; like most recently in February in Hamburg, where Peter Stamm held the lecture 'There is no reality.' After 12th April in Vienna, two other lectures are already announced: 28 June in Cologne, 23 August in Berlin - both in Freitag stores.

Freitag presented the practical Joan bag (can be used for picnics tours on the bicycle - watch the 'How to use it'-video) in March 2012 to the press with the headline 'What makes women mad' and raises at the same time awareness for the gender gap and the social inequality women are confronted with: "Not to be taken seriously is one of the worst things that can happen to a person. Now imagine that this has been the burden of over half of the worlds female population. For ages."

Is it difficult to stay objective? Yes, for sure. It belongs to the style of the handbag and the carried messages.
