Art-deco inspired shoes
For spring/summer 2012, the Zürich based new shoe label 'Maison des Talons' presents 23 models in 12 different styles from ballerinas to stilettos in 4 different heights inspired by the decorative art movement 'art-deco' (early/first half of the 20th century, Paris) expressed as architectural shoe constructions with metallic details and a mix of materials.

Pieces from the new collection received already attention from magazine editors of 'Vogue Accessory' (December 2011 issue) and in 'Collezioni Accessori' (November 2011) the label was prominently placed with an ad (maison-des-talons.com).
Maison des Talons was founded 2010 by designer Susanne Villigers (graduated as master in shoes and accessories design from the Istituto Marangoni in Milano, designed shoes for Donna Karan, Alessandro dell'Acqua, Bikkembergs...) and business partner Bettina Bieler (master in communications and business administration, University of Zürich).
