Looking over the shoulders of jewelers

On 31 August 2012, Paris based jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels presented the 360° Virtual Tour which leads with texts, photos and videos through the workshops of the Maison on Place Vendôme. Van Cleef & Arpels jewelers and stone buyers introduce in nine short films to the different stages of the production of Haute Joaillerie pieces (design, selection of diamonds, stones, 'Mystery Setting'- specialists...). The films were directed by journalist, producer, and documentary film director Loïc Prigent.

The 360° Virtual Tour was launched on occasion of the renovation of Van Cleef & Arpels' workshops and unveiled at the 'Timeless Beauty' exhibition from 20 May to 15 July 2012 at the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA Shanghai).

It is announced that the 360° Virtual Tour will be part of the upcoming exhibition 'Van Cleef & Arpels, l'Art de la Haute Joaillerie' at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris from 20 September 2012 to 10 February 2013.
