'World Ski Awards' provide insights into ski destinations worldwide

On 26 August 2013, the international voting for the first annual 'World Ski Awards' opened on worldskiawards.com.

The website provides an overview of ski destinations in 20 countries like Switzerland, Chile, US, France or South Korea. The Ski Awards are brand new prizes and belong to the 'World Travel Awards' (since 20 years). The Ski Awards will honor the qualities of ski destinations in the categories 'Ski Resort', 'Ski Hotel', 'Ski Boutique Hotel', and 'Ski Chalet'. Closing date of the voting is the 13th October; the ceremony will be held on 16 November at hotel A-Rosa in Kitzbühel, Tyrol in Austria.
