The Black Keys are singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. One of their trademarks is that they refuse to use big-name studios, and do most recording, producing, and mixing themselves.

You can hear their music such as ‘Set You Free’ on the soundtrack of the movie "School of Rock" (2003), ‘Girl is on My Mind’ in a Sony Ericsson advertising (2006), ‘The Desperate Man’ in a Victoria’s Secret commercial (2006) featuring Heidi Klum, their song “Your Touch” was used in a Lee jeans commercial (2007) ...
On 1st April 2008 the two musicians released their new album "Attack & Release".

In October The Black Keys will travel through US, starting with 1st Oct in New Orleans until 30th Oct in San Francisco. From 11th Nov on they are in UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, ... Unofficial Video: "Total Quality Woman" from the new album "Verlass die Stadt" (free translated: "Leave the City") by Gustav (released on Chicks on Speed Records in mid-May 2008). The unofficial video is made by Momus. His photographs show women in Viennese shop windows.

Peter Gabriel has picked "Like A Hobo" as one of his favorite songs for the music industry festival Midem 2007 in Cannes. Charlie Winston's new single "I'm A Man" can be heard on the VW Polo advert; an amusing advert where you can see a dog's lips synchronized with Charlie Winston's song.

Grafton Primary are the brothers Joshua (voice) and Ben (synths/keytar). They began live performances in April 2006 in Sydney. Table For One - sounds like a drinking song - is 23 years old singer/songwriter Mike Rosenberg’s take on life closing its doors of opportunity. “It’s about middle-aged men drinking themselves in to nothingness in a pub, or the guy eating alone a restaurant when you’re out with your family,” says the singer. “There is something about men at a certain age suddenly sensing disappointment with their lives. When you’re young, anything seems possible. As you get older, options start going. As a 23 year old, of course, I have no first hand knowledge of it whatsoever. But that’s the magic of songwriting. I like to step in to other peoples shoes and get inside their heads.”

Video: (Live Performance on 16 December 2005 in Paris) "When I Was A Young Girl" by Canadian musician Feist (born 13 February 1976) from the album "Let It Die" (released on 18 May 2004). The song "Mushaboom" from the same album was used for the Lacoste fragrance "A Touch of Pink".

"My Moon My Man" from the album "The Reminder" (April 2007) was used to promote a mobile phone by LG; the track "1234" in a commercial for the iPod nano.
