Stereofoundation's (Andreas Nather, Andreas Bitesnich) debut single 'Rock 'n' Roll Dream' mirrors the life of the band's duo: From the legendary Viennese music club U4 to the world of medicine and photography, and now the first album with the help of a Grammy-winning musician

The new Austrian formation Stereofoundation has released the video for the first track from their upcoming self-titled album. The duo behind Stereofoundation are well known in the Austrian beauty and lifestyle scene. Andreas Nather is a physician and co-founder of the women's health center Woman & Health in Vienna, and Andreas Bitesnich works as an international photographer with a focus on portraits and nudes. Their decision to produce an album was driven by the courage to try something completely new. The duo, who describe their musical style as post-glam rock, have shared a passion for music since their youth. The long-time friends gathered experience in the New Wave scene of the 80s and performed in the legendary Vienna club U4, where the music of Joy Division, Simple Minds or Depeche Mode set the style. Stereofoundation features Nather on vocals and Bitesnich on synthesizer and guitar. In a video on Facebook, the duo introduced the debut with the information that they have been working on the project for over two years. The first single 'Rock 'n' Roll Dream' was released on 16 June with a video and on streaming platforms.

"These songs have evolved from ideas we've been carrying with us for a long time, which could explain that warm feeling of familiarity you get when listening to them," the musicians of Stereofoundation are quoted in the press release. The composition of synthesizer and guitar sounds by Andreas Bitesnich and the lyrics interpreted by the expressive vocals of Andreas Nather are inspired by various rock and glam rock influences. Bitesnich and Nather collaborated with other musicians during the creative process, including legendary British drummer Ralph Salmins and Austrian bassist Peter Gruber. Finally, the tracks were polished by Grammy-winning sound guru Georg O. Luksch.
