Art made street worthy in Vienna: Views at the range of fashion, jewelry,... at the shop of KHM (Kunsthistorisches Museum) and the art history museum's new street food pop-up Since 4 June, the KHM Pop-up in front of the entry to the museum at the Maria-Theresien-Platz offers Viennese dishes refined with a touch of high cuisine and fused with cosmopolitan taste such as the pancake named 'Wiener Klassik' with ham, cheese, onions, walnuts,... which is spiced with sweet chilli mayonnaise. Other pancakes are made with wasabi or truffle mayonnaise. The KHM Pop-up (until September) is run by 'Gourmet', which is the gastronomy partner of the café and restaurant inside the museum. Exploration tour tip: The beginnings of the making of textiles reconstructed on basis of findings of scientific research and experimental archaeology at the outdoor park of MAMUZ Schloss Asparn in Lower Austria Recently, Fashion.at visited one of the museums of MAMUZ in Lower Austria at the federal state's so-called 'Weinviertel' at Schloss Asparn at the Zaya. At the outdoor area, the exploration of living worlds starts with tipis of the Paleolithic hunter and collector culture. The first tracks of textile production can be observed already at the next living world with an accessible quasi-'furnished' building which was reconstructed after a Neolithic Age settlement from ca. 5600/5500 BC found in the region of Schwechat in Lower Austria. Weaving is after stone and wood works the longest practised craft and can be dated back to the Neolithic. At the Bronze Age settlement (ca. 2200 BC), the museum researchers provide insights into how textiles were processed with examples of the colors achieved through natural dyes...

Austria Insight: Preview of the sports (fitness, dance, yoga, football,...) programme of the initiative 'Bewegt im Park' (Moving in the Park) The printed programme (on view on this page) shows courses in Vienna in the order of the 23 districts of the city. The first is a dance course starting on the first day of the 'Bewegt im Park' project on 14 June from 17.00 to 18.00 at the Stadtpark in the 1st district. Four dance courses are scheduled at the popular park. Other districts have a more diverse offer such as the 2nd district where football, karate, tai chi, yoga, ultimate frisbee or healthy back courses are announced. Well, it's not said that only home districts can be chosen. Generally, the participation concept is very relaxed. 'Bewegt im Park' events can be accessed without former registration.
