Porsche On occasion of the exhibition 'Form Equals Function. Design by Studio F.A. Porsche', the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen published an introduction into the design approach of the studio, which was founded 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the designer of the first Porsche 911 (1963). Central at the approach is the equal interplay between form and function.
