The popular 'Wiesn' folk festivals coincide with the harvest festival season. In Vienna for example, the 'Kaiser Wiesn' folk festival runs this year from 22 September until 9 October 2022. In Zell am See Kaprun (Salzburg), the harvest festival season starts with the Farmers' Autumn weekly markets in the last days of August and ends in late October.
