The randomized structures of nature
The European brand Calida was inspired by the variety of nature such as the green of a garden, sand of the beach, the scent of flowers or how the skin is stroked by the wind for collections of lingerie and swim wear that express the character of nature: randomized structures like irregular shine or hand made embroideries are set in contrast to 'cool' structures of the surface such as cement and asphalt.
The lingerie collections are developed from the themes 'Urban Structures' where you can find the natural urban tones stone, wood, marble, and the theme 'Natural-Living' with the natural colors of a blooming garden.
'Seaside Pleasure' is the idea behind the sportive, feminine bodywear with a touch of Côte d'Azur chic of the 50s and 80s for holidays on the beach. The designers of Calida have transferred the colors of the sun, sand, and the ocean into nautical motives and mixed them with fresh tones from red, grey, creme to yellow and violet.
