Berlin in Fashion Week fever
During the last days in late June and early July 2014, Fashionoffice received not only invitations to shows and booth presentations at Berlin Fashion Week. Thanks to German thoroughness, Fashionoffice is also best informed about what to wear on the streets in Berlin - and where to buy!
fig. right: On this page on view, two Berlin Fashion Week outfit items by New Yorker (not the magazine, the retailer): white sandals with cork sole and black shopping bag. The bag's visual appearance reminds a French fashion house - even the Vespa (instead of the horse) as reference to the heritage of the house is funny! Can you guess which label is meant?
fig. below: The photo below provides an insight into the Concept Store Rebecca which sent the pressrelease with photos for informing users where the source for high fashion (like Jay Ahr - Paris, Vera Wang - New York, Alex Perry - Sydney) is located in Berlin; you can find the store in Berlin-Mitte.
Berlin Fashion Week is much more than Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (schedule 8 - 11 July). MBFW with its trendsetting designers is for sure the crowd puller which brings the fashion fever into the city! But at the same time from 8 to 10 July, the international fair Bread & Butter will run in Berlin. The main focus lies on urban fashion which reaches from high fashion labels like Karl Lagerfeld to street fashion such as Bench. At this year's brand list even motorcycle brand Deus Ex Machina or fashion by Goodyear can be found. And again thanks to German thoroughness; Berlin Fashion Week visitors are even best informed about coffee shops: Bread & Butter publishes an article about the best coffee destinations in Berlin.
There are four days left until 8 July for collecting information about hot spots and street style in Berlin!
