Tyrolean slippers in hut style for 'Pink Ribbon' initiative
From late September 2014, shoe store chain Salamander will collect money with the limited edition of original Tyrolean slippers in comfortable ski hut style for the 'Pink Ribbon' initiative of the Austrian Cancer Aid. (Österreichische Krebshilfe).
It's not the first time that Salamander collects money through Breast Cancer Awareness month October. Last year, the retailer collaborated with the Italian bag label Gabs. In 2014, the Pink Ribbon items were designed by Kitz-Pichler (belongs to the Austrian wool fabrics, goods producer Gottstein) and made from the company's wool-walk (traditional fabric of the European Alps region). The middle-grey slippers are decorated with Pink Ribbons and carry the pink colored messages 'Einfach Ich' (could be transl. as 'Simply I' - on view on this page) and 'Wahre Heldin' ('True Heroine').
It's announced that the proceeds of the 'Pink Ribbon Edition' of Tyrolean slippers will be donated to the Austrian Cancer Aid.
