Mother's Day jewellery shows an endless knotted lotus flower heart

...seen in March at Thomas Sabo's 'Karma Beads' collection for Spring/Summer 2014. Mother's Day pays homage to mothers and their work for society; in many countries Mother's Day will be celebrated this year on 11 May. Thomas Sabo combines the rosé gold heart pendant with silver necklace and silver bead which shows a karma wheel (photo right). The word 'karma' originates from Asian holistic beliefs which see all things in life connected to each other; even actions by one single person has effects on others. In Western culture, the meaning of karma is often summarized with sayings like 'you reap what you sow' or 'life is what you make it'. For Mother's Day, the endless knotted lotus flower karma heart is a nice gift to symbolize the close relationship and love for a mother. The pendant from the Karma Bead collection will be available in stores and online from 26 April.
