9 December 2015 Recently, Pantone unveiled the new color(s) for 2016; the first time ever, Pantone presented not one but two colors and argued the decision with the growing equality between gender in many parts of the world. Today's importance of gender equality and even gender fluidity is according to Pantone reflected not only in fashion but in design products in general. The colors Rose Quartz and Serenity challenge "traditional perceptions of color association" states Pantone. The rose-blue sunglasses Renee P. by the Austrian eyewear label Andy Wolf are from the current unisex collection and were posted together with other designs under the title 'Andy Wolf In Love With Pantone Colors 2016' on Instagram.
