Dachstein's urbanized mountaineer boots for city walkers

The Austrian shoe brand Dachstein is especially known for its mountaineer boots. This season, the label, which is named after a famous Austrian mountain region, releases under its Lifestyle and Function & Style lines models which can be described as cross-country or urbanized boots for walkers. Earlier this season, Fashionoffice presented already the 'Geierwally' boot for women (designed for short hikes and country walks) from the Fall/Winter 2015/16 Dachstein collection. On this page now, the urbanized mountain boot 'Hubert DDS' is on view. It comes in two color combinations: one in sand colored natural full-grain leather with jeans-like midnight blue lining, and the other one in wood-brown full-grain leather with leaf-green lining. Hubert is outfitted with shock absorbing and anti-slip (Vibram) sole for walking in an urban environment, even on slippery ground. DDS behind the name Hubert stands for the interior which is made of alpine sports shoe material to keep out the water and let air in/out by still warming the feet.
