Comfortable homewear for colder days

How long will it last until the heatwaves of summer 2015 and the expert statements concerning climate change with consequences like geographical and biological transformation of fauna and flora will be forgotten? How long will it take until the action plans for environmental-friendly living are archived as seasonal ideas. Perhaps, when it's getting colder in the next weeks and the heaters will be turned on habitually instead of selecting warmer clothes at home.
