Fila's 'Heritage' items in classical-modern tennis style will premiere at the 2016 US Open in late August in New York

Fila announced that the label's sponsored athletes will debut the 'Heritage' collection FW16 at the 2016 US Open in New York (29 August - 11 September). On view at the campaign video (below) is athlete Jelena Jankovic (plays soon on 6 August for Serbia at the Olympic Games in Rio), Yaroslava Shvedova (born in Russia, plays in Rio for Kazakhstani), and US tennis player Jamie Loeb in short dresses, skirts, tops, jacket in feminine cuts with color blocks and black & white striped graphics. The line is an interpretation of classical tennis styles over the decades reaching back to the 60s/70s and is made of high-quality stretch fabric.

Additionally to the women's line, Fila 'Heritage' for men will debut at the 2016 US Open. The men's campaign video shows tennis player John Isner (US) and Andreas Seppi (plays for Italy in Rio). The 'Heritage' items for men and women will be available on FILA.com and at selected tennis retailers in US and Canada.

Fila's signature color combination of navy, red and white is interpreted in the more muted mix with black for navy. The items are figure accentuating such as the jacket which enhances the feminine curves at the waist.
