18 July 2016 For the 'Fashion Unplugged' collection, Sony and the sustainable swimwear label AURIA by British designer Diana Auria use headphone wires which become with new transmitting technologies less important nowadays. The collection is dedicated to traveling and consists of items like black sandals or red beach bag. They are presented together with Sony h.ear headphones which are wireless and provide thanks to LDAC technology a better sound quality than via common bluetooth data transfers. fig.: h.ear on Wireless NC (NC stands for Noise Cancelling) headphones in red by Sony with beach bag; the wires are up-cycled for the handles and the headphone jacks are used as embellishment. (The jacks are on view at the middle of the bag, at the end of the handle wires.) Below: Black headphones with sandals. The sandals and bag are from the five pieces Sony x AURIA 'Fashion Unplugged' travel collection, released on 14 July 2016.
