Luis Trenker FW18/19 presented with airfield runway show in St. Johann, Tyrol and 'berg' lookbook with Italian ski racer Manuela Mölgg at Kronplatz, South Tyrol

Soon on 7 January, the new Luis Trenker Fall/Winter 2018/19 collection will be presented at the airport St. Johann in Tyrol (Austria) where the South Tyrolean label's branded historical airplane will play a central role in the stage setting (event details). Around one week before the airfield runway premiere, Bozen (South Tyrol, Italy) headquartered Luis Trenker provided insights into the new women's and men's 'berg' mountain sports collection inclusively lookbook where Italian National Ski Team racer Manuela Mölgg (on view at the image below, right) is on view wearing pieces for skiing or hiking (the German word 'Berg' means 'mountain'). The images were taken at the Messner Mountain Museum, architecture by Zaha Hadid, at Kronplatz (images below) in South Tyrol. The Luis Trenker berg FW18/19 collection is inspired by original alpine clothing of times of the name giver of the label, mountaineer and film legend Luis Trenker, and produced with focus on natural, sustainable materials like loden of the Austrian wool fabric producer Loden Steiner or the South Tyrolean sheep breed 'Villnösser Brillenschaf''s wool which is used in a mix with technical fibres for the outerwear's fillings. Recently, the images from a visit of the brand's founder and CEO Michi Klemera at Villnöss were published with the announcement that the Luis Trenker berg ski collection will be available from July 2018.
