Presentation of watches, sunglasses by Waidzeit made of wood from a used barrel by the Austrian whisky distillery Haider at 26°East Bar, Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna

The snapshots were made yesterday on occasion of the presentation of the latest Waldviertler Whisky J.H. 'Dark Rye Malt J.H. Barrel finish Ex-Laphroaig' by the Austrian distillery Haider (the 100% dark roasted rye malt matured 9 years in a barrel made of native oak and was filled for the finish into a former barrel by the Scottish distillery Laphroaig) at the 26°East Bar at Palais Hansen Kempinski in Vienna. Distillery Haider is an Austrian whisky pioneer. In 1995, the company - headquartered in Roggenreith in Lower Austria, was the country's first whisky distillery. Together with the Waldviertler Whisky J.H. 'Dark Rye Malt J.H. Barrel finish Ex-Laphroaig', distillery Haider presented the new collection of watches and sunglasses by Styrian design label Waidzeit. The watches (differ from dials and the appearance of the barrel wood) and sunglasses (4 models) are made of wood from a former whisky barrel used by Haider. It's announced that the watches are available from the end of October, the glasses from the end of November at the distillery Haider, at waidzeit.eu, and at selected jewelry and partner stores.

Note: The 'Whisky Adventure World' by the distillery Haider is listed as one of the top attractions in Lower Austria with guided tour through the whisky production, Fire-Water Garden with a Celtic life tree circle, or a Whisky Café with terrace.
