17 August 2018 Internationally active omnichannel retailer (TV, online) HSE24 (headquartered nearby Munich, Germany) launched recently the new women's trachten collection consisting of clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry on occasion of upcoming festivities like the beer festival Oktoberfest which originates from Munich (Bavaria). Therefore, HSE24 teamed up - among other labels, again with one of the most prominent outfitters of the beer festival, designer Lola Paltinger (on view at the image right) who is with her special HSE24-line 'Himmelblau' a long-term partner of HSE24; the designer collaborates with the retailer since more than 10 years. For Brian Rennie (image), it's the first step into trachten fashion. The Scottish designer worked for labels like Escada or Gant, created couture for celebrities from film, music such as the wedding dress for Jennifer Lopez. Since early 2016, the designer's own 'Brian by Brian Rennie'-line is available at HSE24. fig. from left: Scottish couturier Brian Rennie and German, Munich-based designer Lola Paltinger created new interpretations of 'trachten' (traditional alpine clothing of Bavaria, Austria, South-Tyrol) ranging from day to evening wear inclusively bags, shoes and accessories. Via Facebook, Brian Rennie posts an article with tips elaborated together with Lola Paltinger for the beer festival; the article is published originally at HSE24's own (printed) customer magazine. One of the tips concerns footwear; the shoes should be comfortable as a visit at Oktoberfest at Theresienwiese in Munich ends inevitably with dancing. fig. below, from left: Couture lace-dirndl and bowling bag from the 'Himmelblau by Lola Paltinger' line; elegant skirt made of jacquard by 'Brian by Brian Rennie'.
