19 August 2018 On 14 September at MQ Vienna Fashion Week, the Austrian in Vorarlberg based and in the tradition of Italian tailoring working label Weber + Weber Sartoria will present items for Fall/Winter 2018 (image below, left) and previews of Spring/Summer 2019 (illustration right). The label focuses on slow-fashion as an answer to the waste problem our throw-away society is steadily producing. On the brand's website, the designers Christian and Manuel Weber find for fast-fashion consumption a term which refers an almost pathological behaviour: 'collectionitis'. "Weber+Weber Sartoria is a statement against this raging collectionitis." (weberweber.it) Weber + Weber Sartoria is currently available in around 70 stores in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria,... On occasion of MQ Vienna Fashion Week (10 - 16 September), the Viennese stores Tiberius, Strictly Herrmann, Neon and Norton will focus especially on the slow-fashion pieces of the brand. fig. from left: Shawl Collar Travel Blazer Autumn/Winter 2018 (photo: © Sebastian Kapfhammer) and preview illustration of the 'Timeless Travel' Spring/Summer 2019 collection by Weber + Weber Sartoria.
