H&M presents new materials at Conscious Exclusive 2019 collection such as leather made of pineapple leaves,...

Today, H&M published insights into the Conscious Exclusive 2019 collection launch event which happened yesterday in Los Angeles with stars like Irina Shayk or Dakota Fanning. From 11 April, the collection made of sustainable materials will be available in selected stores (in Austria at H&M at Graben, 1st district of Vienna) and online. Three new materials additionally to Tencel™ Lyocell, recycled plastic, recycled glass, recycled silver, etc will premiere at H&M Conscious Exclusive:

Piñatex® (leather-like material made of cellulose fibers extracted from pineapple leaves) such as on view at the silver parts of the jacket at the image right and below left.  

Orange Fiber® (at the shoulder-free blouse on view at the image below right, the silk-like material from citrus juice by-products is mixed with Tencel™).

The third material is Bloom™Foam; flexible foam made on basis of algae biomass.
