A
packed programme
The winter festival Dream-Time-Tracks offers every visitor a wide spectrum
of Australian culture: aboriginal music and Dream Time stories - expressed
in a modern way by young dancers - and more than 100 works of art offer
an insight into contemporary Australian culture. Under the direction
of professional artists visitors learn painting techniques and watch
while the largest Australian mural in Europe is created.
A cooperative
project unique throughout Europe
In their choice of artists and objects, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds
have embarked on a path which is unique throughout Europe. The Dream-
Time-Tracks project resulted from cooperation with a new, up-and-coming
generation of aboriginal artists. The
highlight of this cooperation is an eight metre high illuminated boomerang
which was designed by the Australian artist Darren Cooper and painted
by the Tyrolean artist Renate Hauska. This unique object - which is
visible from afar - was created together with Swarovski Crystal Architecture
and will dominate the landscape around the Swarovski Crystal Worlds
in Wattens for three months.
Live performances
of aboriginal art can be seen daily except Mondays between 09:00 and
17:00 in the Swarovski Crystal Worlds.
