Laura Lees works as artist and designer. She collaborates with fashion designers by creating one-off and limited edition multiple designer garments (Doran Deacon, art embroidery on designer collection, London, 1998 - 1999; PHD, art embroidery on designer collection, London, 2000; Luella Bartley, art embroidery on designer collection, London, 2000; Noki, art embroidery on designer collection, London, 2000). Therefore she combines traditional crafts with contemporary imagery to produce unique art pieces. And you will find her work on stage: for The Strokes she embroidered the guitar straps in 2002.
