Fashion and bikes for new challenges in metropolitan cities
...presented by Swiss men's wear brand Strellson in collaboration with bicycle label Bianchi under the motto 'Urban Mobility' for Spring/Summer 2014. One of the most challenging questions for comfortable mobility in metropolitan cities is: "How to overcome larger distances in short time?" The combination of public transport and bike is a good answer. This solution is not for everybody but for the ones who have the appropriate physical constitution.
It's the third time that Strellson and Bianchi (founded 1885) are working together. In the first two years in 2011 and 2012, Strellson X Bianchi combined fixies (single-speed) in classical racing bike style with tailored men's suits which had some special features such as water- and dirt-repellent stretch fabrics and named them after the main colors: 'Black Edition' (video) in 2011, 'White Edition' (video) in 2012. For 2014, Strellson's sportswear team created the sporty fashion items and collaborated closely with Bianchi for designing a folding bike which can be transported easily on subway trains or buses and fits to Strellson's men's style. The name of the new collection (available form February 2014 on worldwide) is 'Urban Mobility'.
Fashionoffice looked through Strellson's Facebook page (fast checked on 11 November 2013) and found another nice marketing idea which benefits city bikers: the label's branded bike rack at Gorky Park Moscow.
