On 8 May 2014, Ferrari driver and former Formula 1 world champion Kimi Räikkönen presented the new Scuderia Ferrari Carbon Blade sunglasses at an event on occasion of the Circuit de Barcelona (race on 11 May). The red-orange-grey colored Carbon Blade sunglasses are the key pieces of the eight-items collection 'Oakley X Scuderia Ferrari'. At the event, Oakley's design engineers Ryan Calilung and Ryan Saylor introduced together with Scuderia Ferrari's engineer Alessandra Cenicola (she is responsible for the production of the front and rear wing of the F1 single seater) into the construction of racing cars and eyewear.
