Event tip 17 Apr: smart party at 'Salone di Mobile Milano' with 'smart mobile disco' electric car installation designed by Konstantin Grcic with lifting platform for DJ booth,...

On 17 April on the opening day of the international furniture trade fair 'Salone di Mobile Milano', the 'smart mobile disco' (image right) created by German industrial designer Konstantin Grcic will be the place of the DJ and deliver light and fog for the dance floor at the smart party in the center of the city of Milan; the party starts at 19.00. Salone di Mobile Milano counts to the most important furniture fairs worldwide; more than 300,000 visitors from over 165 countries are expected to visit Salone di Mobile Milano this year.

The smart mobile disco bases on the electric car 'smart EQ fortwo' and premiered at the currently until 9 September running exhibition 'Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960 – Today' at Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein. The exhibition after the concept and with installations by Konstantin Grcic was the birthplace of the collaborative music-car.
