Red Bull Music Festival celebrates 'Sounds of Austria' with groups known from classical interpretations, dialect songs, hip-hop, electronic music,... in May in Vienna

On 9 May, the Red Bull Music Festival with more than 30 Austrian music groups will be held at and around the Great Ferris Wheel (Wiener Riesenrad) at the entertainment park Prater in Vienna. The motto is 'Celebrating Sounds Of Austria' and the already announced acts - from the Vienna Boys' Choir known for classical interpretations over Austrian dialect interprets like Seiler und Speer to hip-hop singer Nazar, electronic musicians Kruder & Dorfmeister, and newcomers like Mavi Phoenix, promise to capture the Austrian music Zeitgeist from different angles. The festival happens on various stages such as at the Electronic Stage or the Hip-Hop Stage; one of the locations is the Great Ferris Wheel where at the red wagons (on view at the image right) DJ-sets as well as live concerts can be experienced.
