For the 3rd time at the London Fashion Week, Afshin Feiz has chosen this year "Sometimes you just have to let go" as the title for spring/summer 2009 inspired by Buddha’s Silent Sermon where in front of his monks Buddha picked up a flower and stared at it for hours without saying a word. There was confusion amongst those present who didn’t know how to react. So no one did react until finally a smile spread across the face of one of them, a monk called Mahakasyapa as realization* set in. It is said that this was the origin of Zen.

 

On 10th November 2008 the pioneers of electro-tangoGotan Project, consisting of the musicians Philippe Cohen Solal, Eduardo Makaroff and Christoph H. Müller, released the "Gotan Project in a Box" with a double live CD of both the “La Revancha del Tango” and “Lunático” tours, the 152 pages of photography book “Carnet de viajes”, DVD video projections "Visiones", previously unreleased 7" vinyl, and an exclusive puzzle poster.

 

Danish designer Malene Birger presented the new By Malene Birger which centers around the theme "flirtation". "Using your personal power and making room in your life for your life.
