'Marc loves me'
...is written and symbolized with a geometrical bright colored heart on the t-shirt of the 'Designer for Tomorrow by Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf' 2011 winner Alexandra Kiesel, who is standing on the photo beneath the head of the jury, US designer Marc Jacobs.
Some days after the award ceremony on 6 July, the European department store chain Peek & Cloppenburg announces the release of Alexandra Kiesel's t-shirt (for women and men) for late August 2011.
Alexandra Kiesel has convinced the jury with the colorful, geometrical collection 'Building Block Individuals 6/12/24' which is made of modules that can be combined individually; the t-shirt reflects the style of her collection.
Marc Jacobs, who has studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York, runs his own label and is creative director at Louis Vuitton. He counts to the most important designers worldwide.
About his personal use of fashion, Marc Jacobs says on designer-for-tomorrow.com/patron/marc-jacobs: "I try not to invest too much heaviness in something that I think is really about pleasure. I get dressed in the morning because I enjoy it, not because I have to."
