Beach wear inspired by the Rockaway Beach in Queens, New York

In early December 2012, Swedish label Peak Performance provided previews to the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 styles of the new Active and Casual collections for women and men such as the blue Helium Hooded Jacket (image right) worn over the flash blue bikini top (image below) and shorts with graphical pattern which looks like inspired by tribal art or patchwork. One source of the inspiration is sure: the Peak Performance designers were inspired for the items and their fabrics by the lifestyle of the surfers at the 'Rockaway Beach' in Queens, New York.
