Shaping, shine, bronzing, protection, unfamiliar colors - - and fashion photography

In June 2012, Fashionoffice collected some summer essentials with focus on contradictions and unfamiliarities and shows the effects of new beauty products on fashion photography.

Bronzing under the sun while oil or lotions protect from sun rays is one of the most interesting trends in summer 2012. The new trend - made possible by new beauty products, is even reflected in fashion photography such as on view at the image below (Triumph swimwear): the model's skin has this new, fashionable bronzing tone.

Even the swimwear by Triumph becomes interesting because of a contradiction: shaping pieces are normally not made of shiny materials which accentuate the form of the female figure. Swimwear with shaping technology is mostly manufactured from textiles with big, wild flower prints or eye-twisting geometrical patterns. Not so the Triumph pieces: they reflect shamelessly the light on their glossy surface which is - very tricky! - draped.

Laudomia Pucci (Image Director Pucci) and Olivier Échaudemaison (Creative Director Guerlain) contribute some style tips for 'Modern Femininity' such as flat sandals instead of stilettos through the day, creative use of make-up as soon as the sun goes down, and they advise to appear at evening parties not overstyled but with color effects on the face and chic accessories.
