Pink Ribbon shopping for breast cancer awareness and research
At the end of September 2013, the European shoe store chain Salamander will start to collect money for the Austrian Cancer Aid organization by selling four bags with photo prints and Pink Ribbon symbol of the worldwide breast cancer awareness campaign which runs each year in October. The shoppers are special designs by the Italian bag label Gabs for Salamander's Pink Ribbon campaign 2013 in Austria. The biggest part of the proceeds will be donated to the Austrian Cancer Aid organization 'Österreichische Krebshilfe'.
Salamander is in best company with its social sponsoring activities. On the website of the Austrian Pink Ribbon organization, this year's partners are listed with their sponsoring products such as Salamander with the four Gabs bags, the Austrian letter and parcel service 'Post' with breast cancer awareness stamp and postcard, or Kenwood with a collection of pink kitchen machines like coffee maker, water heater, toaster, etc.
