Free MP3 download 'Triangular Daisies' by Rubblebucket (comes out on 19 Oct)
'Triangular Daisies' is like a fresh floral breeze in the morning. The orchestral music of the Brooklyn based 8 members band can be described as a mix of Fela Kuti (listen the track 'Bikes') mixed with Eastern European jazzy horn blowers, a glassy female voice - and a special gentle touch by a chorus of whistles. Frontwoman/saxophonist Kalmia Travers explains: "We're children of this noisy age, with access to so much music from across time and space. We soak up all the sounds. What comes out can be unpredictable, but it will be uniquely ours." On their Myspace site, Rubblebucket publishes the video about the recording of 'Came Out of a Lady' and the US-tour dates for October (15 + 16 in San Francisco) and November.
